Strawson Hall, Horley
£3000

A grant of £3,000 was made towards the refurbishment of this community hall to ensure future use. The work included re-wiring, installation of a new ceiling and replacement doors and windows.

Reigate Beekeepers Association
£2500

A grant of £2,500 was awarded to buy secure units to store equipment at their permanent site for use in teaching beekeeping to new and existing beekeepers.

Surrey SATRO
£2000

A grant of £2,000 was made towards the purchase of a second hand minibus for Surrey SATRO's Mobile Classroom Project providing industry-standard construction and building services training to young people.

St. Joseph’s Specialist School and College, Cranleigh
£1350

A grant of £1,350 was made towards the purchase of specialist equipment for the sensory suite in the community therapies centre.

Who Are We?

An independent charity that awards grants annually for deserving projects within the area of benefit covering parts of East and West Sussex, Surrey and Kent. In particular, funds are channeled to those areas where people are directly affected by operations at Gatwick Airport. It supports schemes that are targeted towards the development of young people, the arts, sporting facilities, environmental improvement and conservation, improvements to community facilities, volunteering, the elderly and the disabled. The normal level of grants is from £1,000 to £5,000.
